The automotive electronics system requires a functional safety infrastructure as defined in ISO 26262 throughout most of the electric components in the vehicle. The safe-driving applications, ADAS, call for fault-tolerant Linux and application processors (AP). Youngsu Kwon in ETRI will introduce the concept of functional safety in automotive APs and the way how AGL’s Functional Safety Expert Group drives Linux community to accommodate the functional safety in AGL on top of fault-tolerant Automotive APs.
