In his keynote Mr. Jones will share Jaguar Land Rovers experience in the on-going
development of a proof-of-concept for an in-vehicle infotainment system platform based
on Linux and open source. He will explore the technical challenges he and his team were
confronted with and how they found solutions working with open source communities and
companies experienced in open source development. The presentation will provide insight on
how a Linux-based POC can be brought into a product rapidly and how ramp up an automotive
engineering and production organization with delivering a product based on open source.
