This session is a BOF session organized by LTSI (Long Term Support Initiative) to discuss testing for Linux kernel. Testing is very important when delivering software, validating changes and
shipping products. However each individual is doing its own testing and that are not shared with others even we are using Open Source. For Automotive usage, everyone is seriously considering how we confirm stability of Linux.

This BOF will discuss how to share testing, what is the common testing portion and so on. If you are doing your own testing, join this BOF and discuss how we will be able to share the testing.


Hisao Munakata

Hisao Munakata is a AGL steering committee member and works for LTSI project in LF/CEWG. He works for a SoC provider company Renesas and as a manager of core kernel team. He had been supporting industry developers who want to run Linux on Renesas SoC. During this process, he noticed that many customers had a problem to find appropriate information the public archives. Tsugikazu Shibata is LTSI Project lead. Tsugikazu Shibata is Chief advanced Technologies of NEC and he has been working on coordinating the relationship between industry and community since the early days of Japanese Linux community. He have spoken at number of Open Source conferences such as LinuxCon, Embedded Linux Conference and OpenStack summit. He is also a board member of the Linux Foundation.
