Connection management for mobile devices (including IVI systems) is not static. The environment changes and an application have different needs or requirements on the internet connection (e.g. only WiFi no 3G connection). ConnMan offers the Session API which targets to solve the mobile connection management.
The presentation will give a short overview on the problem domain and then outline how ConnMan has solved the problem.
Daniel Wagner is a maintainer of ConnMan and is working for BMW Car IT GmbH. In his past he also contributed to the FFADO/FreeBoB project.
These days he is working on realtime Linux.
