Bitbake, hub, OBS, gbs, osc, mic2 - these names stand for tools used in the
yocto and Tizen projects. Engineers and their Managers face the problem which tool or
project to choose for solving their tasks. Jan-Simon Möller will provide during this talk
a decent overview on the approaches taken by these 2 projects and will introduce the
tools used based on examples. He will also highlight strong and weak aspects of the
build systems and their tools followed by and Q&A session.

Consultant, The Linux Foundation
Jan-Simon Möller is an electrical engineer who has spent the past decade working with and on Open Source projects and Linux. His previous work involved embedded systems, build systems, device drivers, power management, robotics and SELinux. He has been involved in a number of Open Source projects, including being a contributor to the Open Build Service. Currently Jan-Simon works as a consultant and as a trainer for the Linux Foundation.
